Dream to digitalize poultry farm: Field launch of software application by Saife Vetmed, India

Further strengthening its customer care program, the company has launched comprehensive applications for Broiler, Layer, and Breeder segments empowering producers, experts & and farm workers to record data, analyze and take decisions based on real-time information presented to them by the dedicated server.
A proud initiative of Saife Vetmed, it has joined an exclusive group of animal health care companies that have developed performance monitoring apps and web-based programs with its own resources and put a dedicated IT team to serve the platform on a long-term basis. Though the company has been working since 2019 on its development,  it has also started testing its first software in the field from 2022 onwards.
The program is available on mobile (Android and IOS), and web and can be used by a poultry producer as small as a few thousand birds to a company or integrator having multiple operations with millions of birds at its disposal. Investment for the small-scale farmers is nil as they need only a camera-enabled mobile to get the full services of Poultrac: Tag-a-shed
The technical head, Dr. Suraj Sharma who has been spearheading the cause along with IT head Deepak is confident that the team will be further successfully in incorporating sensors to bring maximum automation. He also shared that the company is working on AI-based modules under the guidance of their NBD and manufacturing head Major (ex) Bhupendra Singh.
